LAUREL DEVENIE is a performer, deviser, director, teacher and theatre-maker and will be the tutor for the Drama Class at the next Autumn Art School 2025.
She graduated from Toi Whakaari: The New Zealand Drama School, in Wellington in 2006. Since then she has been heavily involved in professional and community theatre projects, television and movies.

Laurel has been involved in both professional and community projects all over the country and has worked with South Pacific Pictures, ATC, Silo Theatre, Capital E, Unitec, Prayas, Downstage Theatre, Red Leap, Northland Youth Theatre and Script to Screen.
